WhitingRanch.com is not directly affiliated with the county nor Whiting Ranch park. It is, however, a volunteer and community supported website dedicated to sharing our common interest in this little spot of wilderness in our backyard.

Borrego - One Way Or Another

	Borrego Trail is One Way for bicyclists, and I like it that way.
	Borrego Trail should be Two Way for bicyclists too, not everyone can complete the loop!
	There should be another path along Borrego dedicated to bicycles. Everyone is happy!

Doggone It!

	Dogs should be allowed in the park.
	Keep dogs out, they interfere with the sensitive wildlife.

Meteor Shower August 12th

Hey all you Outdoor Adventuneers! Set your alarm clocks for the wee hours of August 12th and find yourself a place away from all the light pollution. It's that time of year for the Perseid Meteor Show(er). At the peak of the shower, estimated to be just before dawn on August 12th, you can see up to 60 meteorites an hour! Be sure to drag your kids out of bed for this - it could be a very memorable event for the family!
